Factors Influencing The Distribution Of Cash Waqf In Medan Helvetia Sub-District, Medan City

Abstract

Waqf greatly influences the economic development of a region because waqf assets themselves have many benefits that can be used by the local community. Waqf assets themselves cannot be used as collateral, confiscated, gifted, sold, inherited, exchanged, or transferred in other forms of transfer.The aim of this research is to find out the influence of literacy and nadzir on the distribution of cash waqf in Medan Helvetia District, Medan City. The technique used in sampling in this study used the Slovin formula from a population of 1487 to 94 as the sample. The method in this research uses quantitative methods with data analysis techniques using instrument testing, classical assumption testing and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of data processing via IBM SPSS version 18, the research results show that the indicators in each variable in this study are stated that literacy and nadzir partially have a significant impact on the distribution of cash waqf in Medan Helvetia District, Medan City.
