Abstract

1. Intan Havea Industry is a company that manufactures and sells gloves. The problem the company faces is the inaccuracy of the production manager selection process. We determine the appropriate production manager based on the full-time employee's name and value profile received from the production department. Since the process of deciding and selecting production managers is handled by a semi-electronic system, data errors frequently occur in regular employees, and the process of calculating and deciding on production managers takes an extremely long time. To solve the above problems, a special system for determining the PT production manager is required. Intan Havea Industry is evaluated based on criteria such as work history, length of service, employee absenteeism, employee time discipline, and current training of employees appointed as production managers in PT. Intan Havea Industry is a system that can provide problem solving and communication skills for semi-structured and unstructured terminology problems through the development of decision support systems or decision support systems. This is a system that supports decision-making when deciding who is responsible for production. By applying the PSI method, it is excellent in selecting the production head. The PSI method allows a complex, unstructured and dynamic problem to be decomposed into parts only hierarchically, so that the selection results of production managers can be obtained in the form of rankings.
