Metode oreste dalam penentuan makanan kalengan berkualitas pada PT.Bumi Menara Internusa

Abstract

1. Bumi Menara Internusa is a company engaged in the production of canned food. The problem faced by PT. Bumi Menara Internus is the lack of accuracy regarding the specifications of canned food ingredients, besides prioritizing order fulfillment, it also does not take into account production factors, such as size, type, quantity, and level of complexity in determining quality canned food. In making the decision to determine quality canned food, an appropriate system is needed that aims to further increase the competitiveness of canned food entrepreneurs and in determining quality canned food it is still done manually by assessing canned food data one by one, namely selecting quality canned food directly, namely with a manual sorting system so that errors often occur in determining quality canned food. To overcome the above problems, a decision support system was designed in determining quality canned food using the Oreste method. The Oreste method provides ranking to the closest solution even though there are conflicting criteria, so that decision makers in this case can choose the right ranking according to the existing alternatives. This method focuses on ranking and selecting from an alternative set of conflicting criteria to make a decision to reach a final decision.
