Abstract

Computers are increasingly being used and relied on in solving various problems, today's computers can be programmed to do the work of an expert who is an expert in a particular field.Meningitis is a disease that attacks the central nervous system (CNS) that can affect anyone and develop significantly.It is also not uncommon for someone who experiences several symptoms to seek information about the disease he is suffering from from people around him or the internet media.The problems that occur are expensive costs and knowing what steps to take.When a person is suspicious of himself having meningitis, then that person needs to confirm the illness he is suffering from.The purpose of this research is to create a system that can help a person to be able to diagnose and confirm that the disease he is suffering from is meningitis.With an expert system that uses the Naïve Bayes method and Bayes's Theorem, someone who experiences some symptoms of meningitis can make sure that someone has meningitis and get a healing solution.
