Abstract

The Remesh and Newmesh Production Forecasting Information System using the Holt-Winters Exponential Smoothing Method is a system designed to predict the production of two types of products, namely Remesh and Newmesh, using a forecasting approach that combines the Holt-Winters exponential smoothing method. This method allows the use of historical data to produce accurate production forecasts taking into account trends, seasonality and level factors. In developing this system, production data from the past is used to train the forecasting model, while actual information is used to validate and update the model periodically.The system integrates software components that facilitate production data management, statistical analysis and visualization of forecasting results. By utilizing information technology, this system makes it easy for users to access real-time production forecasting information and make the right decisions in planning and managing the supply chain. System testing and evaluation shows that the use of the Holt-Winters exponential smoothing method in this information system can produce accurate production predictions with a low error rate, thus making a positive contribution in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the production planning process
