Improving Students’ Vocabulary Mastery Using Animated Cocomelon Music Video On Youtube For SMP Swasta PGRI 3 Medan

Abstract

The objective of this research was to see whether the application of Animated Cocomelon Music Video On YouTube media could significantly improve students’ vocabulary mastery. This research was conducted through classroom action research (CAR). The Subject of this research were seventh grade students of SMP Swasta PGRI 3 Medan. Based on the Analysis, Students’ Achievement is improved every test. The mean score in Pre-test was 32,2. In the first cycle I the mean score was 51,7. The last, in the cycle II mean score was 76,83. From the observation sheets, diary notes, and interview sheets, it was found that the teaching and learning process ran well where the student were more active and enthusiastic in learning. So, it can be concluded that the use of Animated Cocomelon Music Video as media can improve students’ vocabulary mastery both verbally and in writing.
